Residence Hall* Services * Includes the Delta Tau Delta and Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity Houses
We offer the following services to students in the Residence Halls:
- Each room has a telephone line and unique number provided by the Telecommunications
office. We will ensure that your phone line is working, but cannot offer
support for equipment that students bring to campus. If you have problems
with your phone and cannot locate the cause, contact the Helpdesk
at x2964 for assistance.
- Call Waiting is automatically available in all residence hall rooms.
This feature is free. For information on how to use it, see the Instructions
page.
- Protection from malicious callers is very serious here at Bradley.
If you are having problems with prank or threatening calls, please call
our office at 677-3052 or call Bradley police at 677-2000
- Distinctive Ring is a feature that rings differently for different
kinds of calls. Most phones support this, and newer phones and answering
machines can utilize the feature to handle calls depending on their
type.
- If your phone rings normally, with just a single 'burst' of ringing,
then the call is from on-campus.
- If your phone rings with a single pause, so it sounds like two
bursts of ringing, the call is from off-campus.
- If your phone rings with three bursts, you probably hung up while
you had a call on hold somehow.
Telephone bills may be paid in person at the Cashiers window in Swords
Hall during their hours. We accept cash, QuickCash, personal checks*,
Visa, Discover, or Mastercard.
*Returned NSF checks are subject to all policies established by the University Controller's Office
