Laboratory/Research Assistant Training
General Safety
Assistants are expected to follow the general
safety rules and guidelines. They are to set an example for the
laboratory students to follow.
Primarily, the responsibility of the lab
instructors and assistants is to see that the experiment proceeds safely, that unsafe
conditions which might arise in the lab are remedied promptly, and that the
students adhere to safety rules.
In order for the students to obey safety
