On-line Laboratory Safety Training

Each employee who works with, or is potentially exposed to, hazardous chemicals will receive initial training on the Hazard Communication/Right-to-Know Law. Training will include the safe use of hazardous chemicals and will take place before initial contact with the chemical.

All personnel will be provided with the information concerning the specific chemical hazards in their laboratory to the time of their initial work in the laboratory.

Copies of the OSHA Lab Standard, the Bradley University Chemical Hygiene Plan and the Hazard Communications Policy are available at this website. Hard copies are kept in a binder in the main stockroom.
