Memos

Memos are explained by Thill and Bovee as brief documents generally one or two pages used for routine, day to day exchange of information within an organization.  Memos are usually brief and can be sent to many readers.  A common use for memos is to designate responsibility, communicate the same material to many people, communicate policy and procedure, and confirm oral agreements or decisions.
