TRUST IN THE WORKPLACE

In today's fast-paced and ever-changing world, trust is more important than ever.  Leaders in organizations strive to manage increasing business demands, often with shrinking resources.  This workshop will explore how we may respond to complex business dynamics and life experiences in a way that honors relationships and preserves a strong foundation of trust - with self and others, at home and at work.

The module will provide you with a conceptual framework for understanding the dynamics of trust and betrayal in relationships.  You will explore the power of trust when it exists, the problems when it does not, and the pain when it is betrayed.  You will learn about the powerful impact trust-building behaviors have on business performance and on our personal relationships when practiced consistently.

The powerful "Reina Trust & Betrayal Model" 360-degree feedback instrument used in this workshop is research based, statistically valid, and reliable in assessing the level of trust in organizational relationships.  The "Model" will allow you to assess the level of trust you experience in the workplace.

As a participant, your objectives will be to:

  • Gain an increased awareness of "yourself" and of how "you bring yourself to relationships with others."

  • Use tools introduced in the process to help you discuss and respond to trust-related issues in a way that builds Trust and promotes teamwork, risk-taking, creativity, innovation, and empowerment.

  • Build your knowledge of the complex dynamics of Trust & Betrayal.

  • Understand specific types of trust and the behaviors that develop them.

  • Build your understanding of Trustworthiness and of what it means to be a Trustworthy leader.

  • Understand the day-to-day ways that trust is broken and the steps that we can take to build trust, let go of betrayal, and move on.

  • Develop an action plan in order to practice trust-building behaviors that will result in an outcome of building trust exponentially.
