| LEADERSHIP - "ALUMS" The Leadership Development Center’s "ALUMS" seminar is a skill-based program, which is designed to teach high school students new skills in leading others, working in groups, managing conflict, and setting goals. Additionally, the program contains self-assessment components, as well as interpersonal communication instruction. This new learning provides students with an understanding of individual strengths and promotes recognition of the value of individual differences. This process is designed to improve the student’s self-understanding, help the student develop new skills, and build the student’s self-esteem. Program Goals
