Capturing the Climb

While many of us wait for winter to fully thaw before visiting our favorite outdoor nature spots, some folks have already been getting their fill of exploration and adventure throughout the winter months! Matthew Klein ('22) has made these unique individuals the focus of his documentary, "Ice Climbers of Starved Rock." The film showcases glacial mountaineers who gather and climb walls of ice in the last place many would expect to find them — an Illinois state park. Watch the trailer for Klein's documentary below.
