August 1, 2012 - Call for Caterpillar Fellowship Applications due to Provost & VPAA September 10
August 14, 2012 - University Conference – Renaissance Coliseum (Time TBA)
August 24, 2012 - Last day for faculty/staff to give info on changes for the Telephone Directory to the Office of the Provost and VPAA for inclusion in that document.
September 3, 2012 - Labor Day - Offices Closed - Library open regular hours
September 7, 2012 - Sabbatical Leave Applications due to Chair or Director
September 10, 2012 - Caterpillar Fellowship Applications due to Provost & VPAA
September 10, 2012 - Sabbatical leave recommendations due from Chair/Director to College Sabbatical Leave Committee
September 15, 2012 - Letter to Deans from Assistant Provost requesting faculty attending Commencement - due October 15.
September 24, 2012 - Sabbatical leave recommendations due from College Sabbatical Leave Committee to Deans
October 4, 2012 - Sabbatical Leave recommendations due from Deans to University Sabbatical Leave Committee
October 8, 2012 - Call for nominations for Caterpillar Professorships – due to Provost & VPAA January 25
October 15, 2012 - Deans inform Provost & VPAA of number of faculty attending Commencement
November 1, 2012 - Provost & VPAA reminds Deans of dates for notification for non-renewal of probationary and temporary faculty
November 1, 2012 - Forms from Provost & VPAA to Deans to request part-time faculty for second semester - due December 3
November 5, 2012 - Sabbatical leave recommendations due from University Sabbatical Leave Committee to Provost & VPAA
November 26, 2012 - Notification to Provost & VPAA of intent to apply for Caterpillar Professorship
November 30, 2012 - Deans notify Provost & VPAA of non-renewal of contract for faculty (2012-13) with more than one year but less than two years of service
December 3, 2012 - Annual Reports due to Provost & VPAA
December 3, 2012 - Part-time faculty request forms due to Provost & VPAA for second semester
December 3, 2012 - Provost's Council returns 2013-14 budget, faculty and staff evaluations, and requests for unpaid leave to Provost & VPAA
December 3, 2012 - Sabbatical Leave recommendations due to President from Provost & VPAA
December 3, 2012 - Notices to probationary faculty from Provost & VPAA - non-renewal of contract for faculty with one year but less than two years of service
December 10, 2012 - Sabbatical leave letter of approval or denial to applicants from Provost & VPAA
January 4, 2013 - Annual call for applications/nominations for Putnam and Caterpillar, Inc. Faculty Achievement Awards - due to Provost & VPAA April 12
January 14, 2013 - Call for submissions for the Theodore C. Burgess Award for Excellence in Interdepartmental Collaboration due to Provost & VPAA May 3
January 25, 2013 - Caterpillar Professorship materials due to Provost & VPAA
January 25, 2013 - Deans notify Provost & VPAA of non-renewal of contracts for faculty with less than one year of service
February 8, 2013 - Letters to Deans from Assistant Provost requesting number of faculty attending Commencement - due March 8
March 1, 2013 - Salary, promotion and tenure letters received by faculty, administrative and professional staff from President, Provost & VPAA, VPBA and VP for Advancement – due April 1
March 1, 2013 - Notices received by probationary faculty - non-renewal of contracts for faculty with less than one year of service from Provost & VPAA
March 1, 2013 - Provost & VPAA sends requests for Emeritus nominations - due April 5
March 8, 2013 - Deans report number of faculty attending May Commencement due in Provost & VPAA Office
April 1, 2013 - Faculty, Administrative and Professional staff contracts due to President, Provost & VPAA, VPBA, and VP for Advancement
April 5, 2013 - Emeritus nominations due to Provost & VPAA
April 12, 2013 - Putnam and Caterpillar Inc. New Faculty Teaching Award nominations due to Provost & VPAA
April 15, 2013 - Last date to submit materials to C&R (Curriculum and Regulations Committee)
April 30, 2013 - Deans notify Provost of non-renewal of contracts for faculty with two or more years of service (2014-15 contract)
May 2, 2013 - Notices to probationary faculty from Provost & VPAA - non-renewal of 2014-15 contracts for faculty with more than two years of service
May 3, 2013 - Theodore C. Burgess Award for Excellence in Interdepartmental Collaboration due to Provost & VPAA
June 10, 2013 - Provost & VPAA sends forms to Deans for requesting part-time faculty for Fall Semester - due to Provost and VPAA on July 10
July 10, 2013 - Request for part-time faculty for First Semester due to Provost & VPAA from Deans
August 20, 2013 - University Conference (tentative)
