Athletic Department Marketing Assistant (Internship)
The Bradley University Athletic Department is now accepting applications for the position of Marketing Assistant.
This 10-month internship position will report to the Director of Marketing and New Media and will be responsible for assisting with all day to day activities of the office, creating and implementing marketing plans for assigned sports and assisting with other assigned sports. Those efforts include working with coaching staffs; writing and executing marketing plans; developing and implementing marketing strategies; creating strategies for attendance, fan engagement and social media; working closely with Nelligan Sports Marketing representatives to coordinate corporate sponsorship fulfillment; coordinating event scripts; supervising game day student workers; and other duties as assigned. The Marketing Assistant will also provide support in coordinating efforts for the Little Braves Club and the Red Sea.
Bachelor's degree preferably in business, marketing, sports management or related field. Preference is provided to individuals with at least one year of experience in collegiate sports marketing. The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience in marketing, game management, promotions, corporate sponsorship fulfillment and execution; demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; excellent organizational, communication and administrative skills; the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; and to create and implement marketing strategies and campaigns. The ability to work athletic events, irregular schedules, weekends and evenings is required.
This is a non-benefit eligible internship position with a monthly stipend of $ 1,200.00.
