Graduate School - Director of International Admissions and Student Services
The Graduate School invites applications for the Director of International Admissions and Student Services. This is a leadership position which directs the efforts of a team of two individuals (including this position) to develop and implement graduate and international admission processes to meet institutional enrollment and retention goals.

The Director serves as the institutional lead resource for the process of evaluating international academic credentials for all international applications. The incumbent supports academic departments in the development of ongoing implementation of cooperative international recruitment programs and evaluation of files. This position is critical to the Graduate School as this person is responsible for: Financial Requests (e.g., conditional/ unconditional, GAs and Summer classes), Admits and Denials, I-20s for International Students, working on Visa designations (such as F-1s), conducting graduation audits, aiding dismissed students with reinstatement, and assisting with new student orientations. This position will work closely and collaboratively with International Student Programs on SEVIS and other federal reporting conducting by that office as well as international student orientation programs.
A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in higher education recruitment or student services are required. A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred as is specific demonstrated success in recruiting international or graduate students. Candidates must be able to obtain a valid passport. F1 and J1 visa training or experience and familiarity with the SERVIS system is preferred. Fluency in more than one language is a plus. Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to travel internationally, make independent judgments under pressure, demonstrate an aptitude for accuracy and detail, be willing to work occasional irregular hours, and demonstrate that they can work effectively with individuals from a variety of cultures.
