University Marketing and Publications - Assistant Director of Web Content
Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Director of Web Content. This position reports to the Director of Web Marketing/Communications for the University.
The Assistant Director of Web Content will help create and manage content for the University’s web presence. This includes the writing and copyediting of spotlight stories, coordination of the events calendar, management of student interns in the various colleges that generate content, and other web content tasks.
A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, English or a closely related discipline is required. Experience in an academic environment is preferred. Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal, writing, copyediting, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with people from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds. Preferred candidates will have the following additional skills: photo editing in Adobe Photoshop and the ability to shoot photos and video to accompany web stories.

There are also occasional commitments before 8 a.m. and after 5 p.m. and on weekends both on and off campus. Must be able to work in a non-ADA compliant building.
