English - Tenure Track Lecturer
The Department of English at Bradley University seeks applications for a tenure-track position at the Lecturer rank beginning immediately. Appointment to begin January 20, 2014.
The lecturer is tasked with teaching 4 courses per semester in our general education curriculum, academic advisement of undergraduate majors, and participation in Department governance. Tenure is based on teaching effectiveness, service, and professional development related to pedagogical improvement. Sample syllabi and assignments will be requested at the interview stage. Lecturers are not eligible for promotion.

A Master’s Degree in English is required at the time of appointment. Additional requirements include successful college level teaching experience in freshman composition and general education literature. Preference will be given to candidates who have the ability to teach business and/or technical writing and those indicating the ability to teach Western Civilization.
