International Studies - Assistant Professor
The Institute of International Studies at Bradley University invites applications for a tenure track position as Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2012.
The successful candidate must: be broadly trained in the discipline of international studies, or international relations; demonstrate excellence, or the promise of excellence, in teaching undergraduates and in publishing peer-reviewed research; demonstrate ability and willingness to teach the Institute’s courses on the Asian region, including its course “Fundamentals of Contemporary East Asian Civilizations”; demonstrate concrete evidence of completion of the Ph.D. by August 15, 2012; be legally eligible to work in the US. Preferred qualifications include a functional and/or regional teaching expertise that enhances the Institute’s curriculum. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach other courses in the Institute curriculum, in line with his/her expertise.
