Music - Temporary Instructor

Bradley University is seeking an individual to teach class piano and applied piano to music majors and non-majors. This is a full time non-tenure track faculty position that begins August 19, 2013. 

Bradley offers a four-semester sequence to majors and also offers beginning class instruction to the general student.  Depending on the successful candidate’s experience they may also teach piano pedagogy and/or accompanying to piano majors.

A Masters of Music, preferably in a piano-related field of study is required.  Previous teaching experience at the University level is desirable.  We seek a candidate who has a love for teaching, and a dedication to the successful education of our students and a professional approach to every aspect of the position.

The Department of Music is comprised of over 90 music majors with nearly 350 students in band, choir, and orchestra.  Led by 11 full-time and 18 adjunct faculty, majors are offered in Music Education, Music Performance, Composition, Music Business and Music with another major or as a Minor.
