Communication - Assistant Director of Forensics and Instructor

The Department of Communication at Bradley University seeks applications for a full-time, non-tenure track renewable appointment as the Assistant Director of Forensics and Instructor of Communication for the 2013-14 academic year. This appointment may include summer workshops under separate contract.

Responsibilities include assisting the Director of Forensics in managing and coaching      Bradley University’s national champion speech team, teaching basic speech courses, and other departmental/committee responsibilities as assigned.

An appropriate Master’s Degree is required.  Forensics coaching experience and ability to travel with, transport and supervise college students is also required.  Candidates must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.                                                                                             

AFA and NFA tournament coaching experience, high school summer forensics workshop experience, tournament hosting experience, and experience teaching basic speech are preferred.

Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
