Affiliate Instructor (Part-time)

Bradley University is seeking an individual to teach string bass in the coming academic year. Applicants should have at least a Masters of Music with professional and/or university experience desired. We seek a candidate who has a love for teaching, and public performance, a dedication to the successful education of our students and a professional approach to every aspect of the position. This is an affiliate (part-time) faculty position that begins August 19, 2013. Application requirements are below.

 

Classroom Instructor: Music Technology Affiliate Instructor (Part-time)

Bradley University is seeking an individual to teach two courses in music technology, one each semester.  The introductory course seeks to introduce the use of various technologies as tools and resources in music education, composition and performance. The objective is to provide students with an understanding of the use and application of music technology in a variety of contexts, and to give them the opportunity to develop familiarity and to begin to develop specific skills. The second course expands on that with three major projects and more in-depth use of software such as ProTools. Applicants should have at least a Masters of Music with professional and/or university experience desired. We seek a candidate who has a love for teaching, and public performance, a dedication to the successful education of our students and a professional approach to every aspect of the position.
