Appointment             Full-Time – 37.5 hours per week

Open/Close Date     Tuesday, January 8, 2013 – Thursday, January 17, 2013

Application Hours    Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 1-4pm; Thursday and Friday, 9-11am



Maintain accurate student records; verify data, prepare, distribute and file forms and reports from various University reporting periods; appropriately order and distribute select office reports; process major and minor changes; process name and Social Security Number changes; process grade changes; process deletion/retention of courses not offered in three and five years; coordinate grade process with Computing Services; monitor electronic grade submissions and make grades available electronically to students, faculty, and appropriate administrators; assist in auditing and editing student records and reports; provide additional office support of answering phones and assisting with student/faculty inquiries; perform other related duties as assigned.

Three years office experience that demonstrates: ability to use basic office equipment (computer, fax, phone system, copier); a basic understanding of functional/department resources and business practices; sound written and verbal communication skills; ability to set priorities; work with sensitive information; effectively interact with students, University personnel and external constituents; compose correspondence; skill with word processing, data entry and database management; math computation skills; ability to work under pressure; handle details and multi-step processes; coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously and on deadline and type 45 wpm.

Selected candidate must have the mental and physical capabilities to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Work is mostly performed in a normal office environment with little exposure to outdoor temperatures or dirt and dust. Working conditions are typically moderately quiet.
