Application Hours Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 1-4 pm; Thursday and Friday, 9-11 am
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide administrative support to the Human Resource Department; greet applicants (i.e., provide application materials and information regarding position openings; screen applications; administer computer testing); receive telephone communications, correspondence, and employees/visitors; respond to questions and requests; update HR website; assist with employee benefits inquiries, correspondence and projects; update and maintain benefit databases; input employee time usage into database and track employee accruals; maintain department files and information for data entry; prepare materials for various department activities; perform word processing and database management activities; maintain office supplies; prepare mailings and perform other related duties as assigned.
Three years office experience (general HR office experience strongly preferred) that demonstrates ability to work independently; superior verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; strong customer service orientation; ability to demonstrate sensitivity for cultural differences; strong planning and organizational skills; positive work ethic; high level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality; proficiency with word processing, data entry and Excel spreadsheets including mail merge functions; ability to coordinate/manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and on deadline and ability to type 45 wpm preferred.

Work is performed in a normal office environment with little exposure to outdoor temperatures or dirt and dust. Working conditions are typically moderately quiet.
