“Sound the Trumpet, Revel the Winds”

The Collegium Musicum, Bradley University’s student early music consort, will present a recital on Thursday, December 1, at 7:30 p.m. in Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Avenue. The program is free and open to the public.
In a program highlighting the intimate timbre of recorders and the vibrancy of the flute, oboe, and trumpet, the Collegium performs popular Baroque dances; charming sonatas by Corelli, Sammartini and Leclair; intricate polyphonic trios of the 15th century; and culminates in a masterful chamber concerto by Telemann.

Directed by affiliate instructor Lisette Kielson, Collegium musicians Mason Boore (trumpet), Clara Capriotti (recorder & flute), and John Ebersole (recorder), are joined by cellist Billy Akers, recent graduate Maggie Sloter (trombone), staff accompanist Molly Sloter, and affiliate instructor David Cyzak (oboe).
