Sarah Long, a senior majoring in music education at Bradley University, will present a trumpet recital on Saturday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m. in Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Avenue. The performance is free and open to the public.
The recital will feature Arutiunian's Trumpet Concerto, Flor Peeters' Sonata for Trumpet, A Song From the Heart, Animal Ditties II narrated by Maggie Sloter, and Music Hall Suite performed by Accent Brass.
Sarah is the daughter of Doug and Kay Long of Lisle, Illinois and is a 2011 graduate of Lisle Senior High School. She is a student of Dr. Todd Kelly of the Bradley Department of Music and plans to pursue a career in music education.
