Spotted Cow Creates Special Bradley Ice Cream

August 24, 2016

In honor of the bicentennial birthday of Bradley University's founder, the Spotted Cow has created a limited time, special edition ice cream flavor.

Frank Abdnour, owner of the Spotted Cow, created Mrs. Bradley's Birthday Blend, to celebrate Lydia Moss Bradley's 200th birthday. It is a vanilla ice cream with a red velvet ribbon swirled throughout.

The ice cream will be unveiled to the general public on Wednesday, August 24 at 2 p.m. at the Spotted Cow (718 W Glen Ave, Peoria). Several university student leaders and representatives, including President Roberts, Athletic Director Chris Reynolds, men's basketball coach Brian Wardle and women's softball coach Amy Hayes will be on hand for the official tasting and introduction of the new flavor.

The special flavor will be available through the end of the year at the Spotted Cow and various events on campus.
