String Chamber Music Concert April 29

The String Chamber Music Concert featuring student ensembles from the Department of Music at Bradley University will be presented on Wednesday, April 29, at 7:30 p.m. in Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Avenue. The recital is free and open to the public.

The recital will feature a string quintet, a quartet, and a duo. The works being performed are Ludwig van Beethoven String Quintet in C Major, Op. 29, Antonin Dvorak String Quartet in E-Flat Major, Op. 51, and the Andreas Makris Violin Duet entitled “Little Milton on the Beach.”

Performing in the recital are violinists Julie Haring, Kayla Michaels, Anna Wilks, Molly Wilson, and guest violinist Jenna Ferdon; violists Natasha Alley, Lindsay Kozlowski, and Amber McGhee; and cellists Billy Akers and Mikaela Hawkins.

The chamber music ensembles are coached by Marcia Henry Liebenow, who is the professor of Violin, Viola, and Chamber Music at Bradley and Concertmaster of the Peoria Symphony Orchestra.
