Transgender Spoken Word Performance Comes to Campus

Bradley welcomes the Athens Boys Choir to campus on Wednesday, February 4. This is no typical choir, it is a transgender spoken word performer based in Athens, Georgia.

Harvey Katz has been touring nationally since 2003 and has recorded five albums. In addition to his spoken word, Athens Boys Choir is also known for his hilarious parody raps. He is the Jewish, transsexual Weird Al, using a playful and witty approach to challenge mainstream normative ideas and ideals about gender, sexuality and personal politics.
