Federal Perkins Loan

This federal loan is awarded to students who demonstrate significant need as determined by the FAFSA. At Bradley University the average Perkins loan is $1,200 per year. There is no repayment obligation while enrolled at least half time. The interest rate is fixed at 5%. Quarterly repayment begins nine months after graduation. Click here for more information.

The first time a student receives a Perkins Loan while at Bradley University, the student borrower will receive an email instructing them to complete mandatory Entrance Counseling and a Master Promissory Note.

If a paper copy of the Master Promissory Note is preferred, please contact the Student Loan department at 309-677-3120 or by e-mail at loans@bradley.edu and a paper copy will be given to the student for completion during orientation.
