Dr. Galsky has been at Bradley since 1969.  He was a faculty member in the Department of Biology from 1969-1982, served as Associate Dean of the Graduate School from 1982-1984, and served as Associate Provost for Student Affairs from 1985-2008.  As the chief student affairs officer, Dr. Galsky is responsible for the educational experience of Bradley students outside the classroom. Dr. Galsky is the recipient of the Putnam Award for Teaching Excellence and the Rothberg Award for Professional Research Excellence from Bradley University.  He is also the recipient of the Outstanding Performance as a Senior Student Affairs Officer Award from the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) (Region IVE).  He serves on the Editorial Board of the NASPA Journal of Student Affairs Research and Practice.  Dr. Galsky received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Roosevelt University and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Northwestern University.  He and his wife, Eunice, have two children.
