Leveraging your Education Degree - Panel Discussion on Options for Education Majors
We invite you to participate in a panel discussion to learn how to leverage your education degree and explore other career options that are outside the traditional classroom setting.

Building Your Professional Story – Roundtable Discussions with Education Professional
Join us for empowering roundtable discussions that relate to professional growth, job search, and community involvement for Educators.

  • 4:10PM - 5:45PM, Westlake Hall, Professional Development Center
  • Business casual clothing is recommended

Teacher Education Mock Interviews 2013
Complete a 20 minute mock interview with a school administrator to learn about your strengths and how you can improve before the BIG interview. Employers will provide valuable feedback regarding your interview skills.

  • 6:00PM - 8:00PM (last interview starts at 7:30PM), Westlake Hall, Various Rooms
  • Seniors ONLY
  • Please wear interview attire

If you are unable to attend an event, please call to inform the Smith Career Center at 677-2510 prior to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 4th. Any individual canceling after March 4th will be required to follow the cancellation policy below:

If you must cancel - regardless of the reason - you will be required to meet with a Smith Career Center staff member by March 13th and submit a ready-to-mail letter of apology to the sponsoring employer. This letter is to be given to the Smith Career Center's receptionist within the time frame determined by the professional staff member.
