GrantsNet: biomedical research and science education- A joint venture between the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) that features an extensive database on fellowships, grants and various sources of research support for researchers in the biomedical sciences. The service also offers links to funders' Web sites, online applications, and comments from recent application reviewers. Illinois Technology Development Alliance Funding Alert: Provides a weekly listing of science and technology grant opportunities provided by the federal government, foundations and other organizations. FedBizOpps:Issued by the U.S. Government Printing Office, FedBizOpps lists notices of proposed government procurement actions, contract awards, sales of government property, and other procurement information. This resource is most useful for faculty and staff, although there are some valuable opportunities for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars as well.

National Institutes of Health Grant Programs: This is a publication of the National Institutes of Health’s extramural grant programs. Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance: A government-wide resource of federal assistance programs. Community Foundation Locator: Provides a listing of community foundations located in Illinois and other states. FundSource: A search tool for funding in the behavioral and social sciences.
National Endowment for the Arts: Provides information on grant opportunities provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, a supporter of art programs and education. National Endowment for the Humanities: This site lists grant opportunities available by the National Endowment for the Humanities, an independent grant-making agency of the United States government that supports research, education, preservation and public programs in the humanities. New York Foundation for the Arts: An extensive resource of national funding opportunities and other information for the arts including dance, music, theater, and art.
