Bradley University has long encouraged faculty members in their efforts to enhance pedagogy and to remain current and creative in their disciplines.  The University offers limited financial support to faculty members to pursue projects of research and teaching excellence; however, most faculty development or pedagogical improvement initiatives require resources beyond what is available internally.

Teaching Excellence Programs offer faculty workshops on teaching, provide materials on how to improve one's teaching, and offer internal grants to faculty for the development of innovative teaching and the creation of new courses.  Research Development focuses on helping faculty develop professionally by providing internal funding for research and creative production.

- *GRANT DEADLINE UPDATE* Effective immediately, all internal awards (excluding Conference/Workshop and Student Travel Funds) now have a 2/semester deadline. Spring due dates are on the 2nd Monday in February (2/8/10) and April (4/12/10). Fall due dates are the 2nd Monday in September (9/13/10) and November (11/8/10). Click here for more information.

- *UPDATE* Effective immediately, all travel requests must be authorized by the Provost prior to date of travel. Click here to get the Request for Academic Travel Form. Once form is complete, send to the OTEFD Office, 100 Heitz Hall. Form must be received before we can reimburse your expenses.
