The Bradley University Office of Teaching Excellence and Faculty Development (OTEFD) is sponsoring the Seventeenth Annual Student Scholarship Exposition on Friday, April 17, 2009 in Bradley Hall. The Exposition recognizes and promotes student scholarly work with peers and colleagues. This event celebrates collaboration among faculty and students within and across disciplines.

Bradley undergraduate and graduate students in all disciplines engaged in research, creative activities, or other forms of scholarship are eligible to participate. The students must be directly and substantively involved in the different aspects of the scholarly activity, particularly in the conception and execution. The activity must also have direct supervision or involvement from at least one faculty mentor. Projects still in progress are eligible. Projects with proprietary information presented in a generic form are acceptable. Students must be registered in the fall 2008 and/or spring 2009 semester to enter the Exposition.

The Exposition will be open to the Bradley Community and the general public. Area businesses and companies will be invited to attend and preview the talents and expertise of Bradley students and faculty.

IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES

March 13, 2009 - Submission of the Intent to Participate Form (.pdf)

April 9, 2009 - Submission of Abstract (no more than 250 words) in Microsoft Word 12 font via e-mail to otefd@bradley.edu.

April 15, 2009 - Poster location assignments available online

April 16, 2009 - 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Set-up of posters in Bradley Hall

April 17, 2009 - 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM Exposition
*Poster presenters should be at their posters from 3PM-5PM
*Oral presentations will be 2PM-4PM in Neumiller Hall

April 20, 2009 - 8:00AM-12:00PM Take down posters in Bradley Hall (all posters left after 12:00PM will be discarded)
