Bradley University has long encouraged faculty members in their efforts to enhance pedagogy and to remain current and creative in their disciplines. The University offers limited financial support to faculty members to pursue projects of research and teaching excellence; however, most faculty development or pedagogical improvement initiatives require resources beyond what is available internally. Teaching Excellence Programs offer faculty workshops on teaching, provide materials on how to improve one's teaching, and offer internal grants to faculty for the development of innovative teaching and the creation of new courses. Research Development focuses on helping faculty develop professionally by providing internal funding for research and creative production.
