Free Verse Interpretation
A tree
Standing there,
Like a stone
Gloomy, so gloomy
In the sad
Dark
Gloom
A tree
Its branches twisted
Gnarled, yet, they wave
In the mist, the fog
Sad, though so picturesque
Drooping evergreens behind it
All so detailed
So thorough
Makes me feel lonely
Though comforted
Safe
And in the midst of it all
A tree.
