The Sky
The
sky is like a blue page:
Long-winged birds soaring
in groups
sailing over puffy white clouds;
shapes of rabbits, powderpuffs.
Feeling the wind blowing in my face,
Sitting in the greenest, freshest grass
While animals crawl up my shirt
Biting me. I feel their tickle.
I flick them ion to the air,
Down they spiral, Krplunk!
"Finally!" I snicker to myself
Lying back down in the grass
Looking up at the blue sky again
dreaming of the future,
dreaming of my life.
