Shelley Epstein has been at Bradley since 2007, currently serving as Associate Vice President for Communications. In that capacity, he supervises University magazines, Hilltopics and Bradley Works; publication of the President’s Report, class schedules, and undergraduate and graduate and catalogs; marketing; public relations; the University website and various internal and external communications activities. Prior to coming to Bradley, Mr. Epstein had a 33-year career at the Peoria Journal Star, retiring in 2007 after serving for 16 years as deputy opinion page editor. He has served on boards of the Community Foundation of Central Illinois, the Western Avenue Greenway Project and the National Conference of Editorial Writers. Mr. Epstein graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1974 with a bachelor of science in journalism and has attended the University of Illinois-Springfield. He and his wife, Marianne, live in Peoria.
