September 4, 2009 - Sabbatical Leave Applications due to Chair or Director

September 7, 2009 - Labor Day - Offices Closed - Library open regular hours

September 11, 2009 - Caterpillar Fellowship Applications due to Provost & VPAA

September 11, 2009 - Sabbatical leave recommendations due from Chair/Director to College Sabbatical Leave Committee

September 18, 2009 - Letter to Deans from Assistant Provost requesting faculty attending Commencement - due October 13

September 25, 2009 - Sabbatical leave recommendations due from College Sabbatical Leave Committee to Deans

October 1, 2009 - Sabbatical Leave recommendations due from Deans to University Sabbatical Leave Committee

October 9, 2009 - Call for nominations for Caterpillar Professorships – due to Provost & VPAA January 25

October 13, 2009 - Deans inform Provost & VPAA of number of faculty attending Commencement

October 31, 2009 - Sabbatical leave recommendations due from University Sabbatical Leave Committee to Provost & VPAA

November 2, 2009 - Provost & VPAA reminds Deans of dates for notification for non-renewal of probationary and temporary faculty

November 2, 2009 - Forms from Provost & VPAA to Deans to request part-time faculty for second semester - due December 1

November 24, 2009 - Notification to Provost & VPAA of intent to apply for Caterpillar Professorship

November 30, 2009 - Deans notify Provost & VPAA of non-renewal of contract for faculty (2010-2011) with more than one year but less than two years of service

December 1, 2009 - Annual Reports due to Provost & VPAA

December 1, 2009 - Part-time faculty request forms due to Provost & VPAA for second semester

December 1, 2009 - Provost's Council returns 2010-2011 budget, faculty and staff evaluations, and requests for unpaid leave to Provost & VPAA

December 1, 2009 - Sabbatical Leave recommendations due to President from Provost & VPAA

December 1, 2009 - Notices to probationary faculty from Provost & VPAA - non-renewal of contract for faculty with one year but less than two years of service

December 11, 2009 - Sabbatical leave letter of approval or denial to applicants from Provost & VPAA

January 11, 2010 - Annual call for applications/nominations for Putnam and Caterpillar, Inc. Faculty Achievement Awards - due to Provost & VPAA April 12

January 18, 2010 - Call for submissions for the William Rainey Harper Award for Departmental Excellence due to Provost & VPAA May 3

January 25, 2010 - Caterpillar Professorship materials due to Provost & VPAA -

January 29, 2010 - Deans notify Provost & VPAA of non-renewal of contracts for faculty with less than one year of service

February 12, 2010 - Letters to Deans from Assistant Provost requesting number of faculty attending Commencement - due March 12

March 1, 2010 - Salary, promotion and tenure letters received by faculty, administrative and professional staff from President, Provost & VPAA, VPBA and VP for Advancement – due March 31

March 1, 2010 - Notices received by probationary faculty - non-renewal of contracts for faculty with less than one year of service from Provost & VPAA

March 3, 2010 - Provost & VPAA sends requests for Emeritus nominations - due April 3

March 12, 2010 - Deans report number of faculty attending May Commencement due in Provost & VPAA Office

March 31, 2010 - Faculty, Administrative and Professional staff contracts due to President, Provost & VPAA, VPBA, and VP for Advancement

April 5, 2010 - Emeritus nominations due to Provost & VPAA

April 12, 2010 - Putnam and Caterpillar Inc. New Faculty Teaching Award nominations due to Provost & VPAA

April 30, 2010 - Deans notify Provost of non-renewal of contracts for faculty with two or more years of service (2011-2012 contract)

May 3, 2010 - Notices to probationary faculty from Provost & VPAA - non-renewal of 2011-2012 conracts for faculty with more than two years of service

May 3, 2010 - William Rainey Harper Award for Departmental Excellence due to Provost & VPAA

June 11, 2010 - Provost & VPAA sends forms to Deans for requesting part-time faculty for Fall Semester - due to Provost and VPAA on July 12

July 12, 2010 - Request for part-time faculty for First Semester due to Provost & VPAA from Deans

August 17, 2010 - University Conference (tentative)
