History of
Constance Hall

Constance Hall was a women's residence for 30 years, until it became the home of the School of Music in 1963. It was built by the women's clubs of Peoria and dedicated to the memory of Jenny M. Constance, head of the English department, who was murdered in Evanston in 1928.
