Peoria, Illinois . . . April 11, 2006 . . . Doug Frank, President of Music Operations at Warner Bros. Pictures, will give the keynote address during the spring commencement ceremony at Bradley University on May 13. The ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. in Carver Arena at the Peoria Civic Center. As the President of Music Operations for Warner Bros. Pictures, Mr. Frank is involved in all aspects of music, ranging from the score to the soundtrack album. He has supervised the music on such feature films as "The Bodyguard," all of the Batman films, the Lethal Weapon series, "City of Angels," "Space Jam," the Harry Potter series, the Matrix trilogy, "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory," and the upcoming "Superman Returns."

As the former head of music for WB Television, he was responsible for establishing the musical identities of shows such as "Growing Pains," "Murphy Brown," and "China Beach."

The rebirth of Warner Bros. animation gave Mr. Frank the opportunity to contribute to the studio's great history of animation and animation scores. Composers hired for animation projects have consistently won Emmy awards for WB Animation.

In addition to his work with feature film and animation, Frank is a consultant for the WB Network. He is also serving as a National Trustee for the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (NARAS). He also sits on the Board of Directors of the Henry Mancini Institute, sponsoring and mentoring young and aspiring musicians.

Mr. Frank began his musical career as a studio musician, following a formal education in music at Brooklyn College. He has composed scores for television and co-wrote the musical "Marilyn: an American Fable," which ran on Broadway in 1983. He also is a successful songwriter whose songs have been recorded by many artists, including Dionne Warwick and Placido Domingo.
