Bradley Jazz Band to to hold dinner-dance fundraiser

Peoria, Illinois . . . April 15, 2003 . . . A dinner-dance with music by the Bradley University Jazz Ensemble will be held on Saturday, April 26, in the Prairie Building's third floor Sky Room. The Prairie Building is located at 240 S. W. Jefferson.

The dinner-dance will serve as a fundraiser for the Ensemble's 10-day European tour this summer. The Ensemble was selected by audition to perform at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland in July. The ensemble will also perform at other venues in France and Switzerland during the tour.

The dinner will be provided by Lindsay's on Liberty and will be served from 6-8 p.m. The music will begin at 7 p.m. and will continue until 11 p.m.

Make reservations by calling 497-3300. Tickets are $25 per person for the dinner and dancing or $40 per couple. For those wishing only to dance, tickets are $15 per person or $25 per couple.
