NAFTA training seminars to be held at Bradley
Peoria, Illinois . . . December 18, 2003 . . . Two NAFTA export
classification seminars for beginning and experienced
international trade practitioners will be held on January 27
and 28 in the Executive Meeting Room in the lower level of the
Michel Student Center on the Bradley University campus.
The seminars are open to the public. The cost is $50 per
person per seminar or $80 for both sessions. To register, call

The Level 1 seminar will cover the basics of how to ensure
products qualify for NAFTA preferential tariff treatment and
how to accurately complete NAFTA documentation. Level 1 will
be held on January 27 from 1 to 5 p.m.
The Level 2 seminar will provide advanced training on the more
difficult topics within NAFTA qualification use case studies
and group exercises to develop practical skills and apply
seminar training. Level 2 will be held on January 28 from 8
a.m. to noon.
The seminars were developed through a partnership between the
U.S. Small Business Administration, the Illinois Department of
Commerce and Economic Opportunity, and the NAFTA Opportunity
Center at Bradley University as a service to Illinois small
business.
