Bradley Theatre presents A Midsummer Night's Dream
Bradley University Theatre will present A Midsummer Night's
Dream by William Shakespeare on February 27 through March 9 in
the Meyer Jacobs Theatre in the Hartmann Center for the
Performing Arts on the Bradley campus.
A Midsummer Night's Dream is Shakespeare's most fantastical
comedy, rich with romance, zany comic characters, and amusing
plot twists. The mad chase of lovers through the forest, the
farcical fun of the mechanics presenting Pyramus and Thisby,
and the mischievous pranks of Puck make this endearing
comedy/romance one of Shakespeare's best.
A Midsummer Night's Dream show times are 8 p.m. on February
27, 28, and March 1, 7, and 8. There will be a special
Thursday performance on March 6 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday
matinee performances on March 2 and 9, both at 2:30 p.m. All
performances will be held in the Meyer Jacobs Theatre in the
Hartmann Center.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for students and are
available by calling the Cultural Events Box Office at (309)
677-2650.
