James McNulty to give lecture on February 20
James J. McNulty, president of Chicago Mercantile Exchange
Inc., will give the National City Bank/Robert T. Stevenson Jr.
Lecture on Thursday, February 20, in Baker Hall room B51 at 4
p.m.
McNulty has served as president and chief executive officer
of Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings Inc. since its
formation in August 2001 and of Chicago Mercantile Exchange
Inc. (CME) since February 2000. He has 26 years of
experience in global financial markets, management,
technology, and exchange, and over-the-counter trading
including serving as general partner with O'Connor &
Associates.
Prior to joining CME, McNulty served as managing director
and co-head of the corporate analysis and structuring team
in the corporate finance division of the investment banking
firm now known as UBS Warburg. He has held foreign
exchange management positions with Harris Bank and Citibank
and was founder and president of Hayes & Griffith Futures,
Inc., and a director of Intermarket Publishing Corporation.
Mr. McNulty holds a bachelor's degree in liberal arts and
sciences from the University of Illinois, Chicago, and a
master's degree in Anglo Irish studies from University
College in Dublin, Ireland.
