Bradley student to present flute recital

Peoria, Illinois . . . March 11, 2003 . . . Nikki Boehm, a senior majoring in music business at Bradley University, will present a flute recital in Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Avenue, on Sunday, April 6, at 7:30 p.m.

Boehm is the daughter of Arlene and Arnie Boehm of Glenview and a 1999 graduate of Downers Grove North High School in Downers Grove. She is a student of Dr. Kyle Dzapo of the Bradley music faculty and is preparing for a career in marketing of the arts.

Boehm's recital will feature a unique program consisting of a Bach Sonata, two works for flute alone, contemporary flute duets, a French masterpiece and a piccolo concerto. Compositions featured are Sonata in C Major, Danse de la Chevre, Duos for Flutes, Syrinx, Sonatine and Concerto in C Major. Composers featured are J. S. Bach, Honegger, Muczynski, Debussy, Dutilleux and Vivaldi.
