Bradley Orchestra concert to feature Concerto-Aria winners
Peoria, Illinois Ð March 4, 2003 Ð The Bradley University
Orchestra will perform a concert featuring the 2003 winners of
the Concerto-Aria Competition on March 7 at 7:30 p.m. in
Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Avenue.
The Concerto-Aria winners are violinist Laura Johnson,
performing the final movement to Kabalevsky's Violin Concerto;
flutist Heather Dick, performing Foote's "Night Piece," for
solo flute and string orchestra; and pianist Harry Williams,
performing Liszt's "Totentanz." The program will open with
Copland's "Hoedown."
