Peoria Lunaire to feature music by Paul Hindemith

Peoria, Illinois ... November 3, 2003 ... Peoria Lunaire, the Bradley New Music Ensemble, under the direction of Stephen Heinemann, will give its fall performance on Thursday, November 13, at 7:30 p.m. in Dingeldine Music Center at 1417 W. Barker Avenue. Admission is free and open to the public.

The performance features chamber music by one of the most significant composers of the twentieth century, Paul Hindemith (1895-1963), including his "Kleine Kammermusik for wind quintet," "Sonata for Clarinet and Piano," "Cello Sonata," and other works. Also featured will be pieces by Elliott Carter and Bradley composition student Justin Koszarek.

Featured performers include Bradley faculty members Kyle Dzapo, Stephen Heinemann, Molly Sloter, S. Blake Duncan, and Nellie Dixon, as well as Charlotte Williams, principal cellist of the Illinois Symphony, and Ruth Slone, principal horn of the Peoria Symphony Orchestra.
