Commanday is guest conductor for Bradley Chamber Orchestra
Peoria, Illinois . . . October 30, 2003 . . . The Bradley
Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of guest conductor
David Commanday, will present a concert on Friday, November
21, at 7:30 p.m. in the Dingeldine Music Center located at
1417 W. Barker Avenue. Admission is $5 for adults and free for
students.
Works on the program will include Beethoven's Symphony No. 1
in C major, opus 21, and Dvorak's Czech Suite, opus 39.
Mr. Commanday is music director of the Peoria Symphony
Orchestra and director of the Central Illinois Youth
Symphony. He has served as music director of the Boston
Ballet, the Greater Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra, and the
Harvard-Radcliffe Mozart Society Orchestra.
