Business financing and structuring conference to be offered

Peoria, Illinois -- August 29, 2003 -- A conference entitled, "Business Money Matters-Financing and Structuring," will be offered on Thursday, September 18, from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the La Salle Room in the Pere Marquette Hotel at 501 Main St. in Peoria.

The conference, sponsored by Commerce Bank, Husch & Eppenberger, the Bradley University Turner Center for Entrepreneurship Small Business Development Center, and the Heartland Illinois Technology Enterprise Center, will focus on the details essential to positioning a business to achieve its financial goals. Presentations will include overviews on how organizational structure and intellectual property protection may impact the ability to finance a business. Business loan options-local, state, and federal programs, equity investments, and grant opportunities will be discussed.
