Bradley announces "Visual Voices" Lecture Series

Peoria, Illinois...September 9, 2002...The Department of Art at Bradley University has announced the schedule of speakers in the 2002-03 "Visual Voices" Professional Lecture Series, which brings to campus top professional artists and designers from around the country to lecture and meet with students.

The program was designed to build a bridge to the profession and contact with those that practice at the top of their fields. This year, eight artists and design professionals with national reputations in their areas of expertise, which include fine arts, art history, criticism, design, multimedia, curators, and allied fields, are featured in the Series.

Each of the speakers will present a seminar along with a studio visit, which affords an opportunity to students to participate with each of the guests in a small group setting.

Exhibitions and programs are supported in part by the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency; Jacob and Lori Bunn; Dick Blick Art Materials; Friends of Art and the Intellectual and Cultural Activities Committee at Bradley University.
