Bradley University. The words have a compelling cadence, their rhythm evocative beyond the seven spare syllables. For 100 years Bradley has been "touching the future" of those who have been fortunate enough to pass through its halls, and through them, the future of its country and community.

Those who have been involved with Bradley have much in common: the rigor of study; the elation of discovery; the uncertainty of self-exploration; the pleasure of new, enduring friendships; the often unnoticed accumulation of experiences that are to become a mosaic of shared memories.

And they have much that is uncommon, that is theirs and theirs alone: special moments of illumination; personal victories and disappointments; singular relationships; and a unique individuality that grew and was respected at Bradley.

For a full century now this has been what Bradley University has been--the common ground of uncommon people, committed to being a community and to developing the individual.

The Bradley of today is both like and unlike the Bradley of the past. It has grown and its face has changed. New buildings have been added, old buildings remodeled, and in some cases torn down. Hairstyles have varied, as have the clothing fashions of faculty and students. But beneath the visible alterations there is a palpable continuity, a constancy of vision and purpose. The buildings, the faces, the attire have altered over the decades. What has not changed has been Bradley University's commitment to excellence, its focus on teaching, and its desire to serve.

Welcome to the centennial homepage. We invite you to join us as we celebrate Bradley University's first one hundred years.
