Congratulations and goodbye to the DPT Class of 2009

The entire graduating Doctor of Physical Therapy Class of 2009, as well as College of Education and Health Sciences Dean Joan Sattler, former Physical Therapy Department Chair Dr. Mary Jo Mays, and the department faculty and staff attended a banquet at Barrack’s Cater Inn on May 15.

It was great to see the students again and to meet the parents, spouses, children, and other relatives of the graduates. Jonathon Hamm presided over the blessing of the meal. Dean Sattler, Professor Bill McGehee and Dr. Steve Tippett, department chair, addressed the graduates following a buffet dinner. Each graduate received a class summary of their “Golden Rules” that was framed under the “Five Fs”: faith, fortitude, focus, fairness, and forthright. Along with dessert, the class shared a video highlighting their activities over the last three years at Bradley.

What a great way to send off a remarkable group of young professionals. We wish them the best!
