Strategic Plan 2018-2022
Bradley will complete its 5-year strategic plan at the end of the 2016-17 academic year. The campus community should be proud of Bradley's many significant accomplishments under the plan.
We are now in the early stages of developing our next strategic plan. In the spring of 2016, the University Senate recommended that Bradley engage a consultant to help guide the next strategic planning process, and the Board of Trustees accepted that recommendation. After a thoughtful process that included a strong recommendation from the University Strategic Planning Committee (USPC), the University hired Keeling and Associates to guide our planning. The firm has extensive experience conducting strategic planning consultations with top institutions across the country.
The process will be both transparent and inclusive. Keeling and Associates will seek input through meetings with various campus constituencies, including department chairs, faculty, staff, trustees, students, alumni, employer advisory boards and others. From those meetings, a small set of themes will emerge to guide our strategic plan. An open forum, tentatively scheduled for February, will allow nearly everyone an opportunity to share their views.
Our goal is to have the core strategic plan completed by the end of the 2016‑17 academic year. The USPC will then develop an implementation plan. In their four remaining visits to Bradley, Keeling and Associates will gather information about how the campus community views the institution and how we envision our future.
We are excited and hopeful about the opportunity to collaborate to make decisions about Bradley's future. We thank you for your willingness to weigh in on these decisions, and for your steadfast engagement with our beloved university.
