NAFTA Certificate and Rules of Origin Seminar
Does your company currently export or sell to someone who exports to Canada or Mexico?
Have you been asked to provide a NAFTA Certificate of Origin for the goods you sell nationally?
Are you an indirect NAFTA exporter?
If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, you should attend these two seminars. The NAFTA Certificate of Origin workshop on November 10 will improve your understanding of NAFTA documentation and determine whether your company's products qualify for NAFTA preferential treatment.
NAFTA Certificate and Rules of Origin Nov 10, 2009
It is critical that companies are trained on NAFTA compliance, as the customs agencies in each NAFTA country focus the burden of certification proof on both the exporter and importer of record. Fines and/or penalties for incorrect or false certification may be assessed to the exporter as well as the importer of record. This full day seminar will provide you with a clear understanding of the rules of origin requirements and help you verify that goods qualify as NAFTA originating. In turn, you can ensure NAFTA's preferential treatment for your customers and increase compliance with customs regulations.
